Manpower expected a market share loss compared to its main competitor during the COVID pandemic but could not determine the reason for this market share loss.

The Solution:

Data science was applied to perform an analysis in public digital media that allowed the client to understand the behavior of supply and demand in three stages: Pre-COVID, COVID, and New Normality of their sector, as well as the market differentiator between their brand and its direct competitor in each Mexican region.

Business achievement:

1.Manpower was able to identify in which regions it had gained market share relative to the competitor and in which it had lost market share during the COVID phase.

2. The categories with the highest demand in each state of the Mexican Republic were identified so that the sales team could align its strategies to the clients’ needs.
